Consistently delicious. Wonderfully spicy. Been going for years now.
Excellent place to buy something when in a hurry. Their service is speedy, pricing is convenient, fantastic atmosphere. Would recommend to others
The food was great, I had the drunken noodles and I enjoyed it. However, the server didn't speak or understand English, didn't know whether or not they had juice, couldn't explain to me what a shirley temple was after she offered it as a choice and the kids menu is non-existent. I also felt Criminal Minds was an interesting choice for dinner theater. I would definitely recommend for takeout.
I would have rated the former restaurant a 5. This time was the first time we were not happy, and when we asked for a beer, we realized that no ABC license because it had been taken over. We will drive to other Thai instead. Hope they improve and get to stay around. We will try the chef again this summer.
Stopped and ate here on a whim while traveling. The food was amazing, well priced for the flavor and serving size, and the service was friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend it! It's the type of excellent hole in the wall type place that deserves more attention.
Best Thai restaurant in dale city! The staff is so friendly and the food is high quality and delicious. Such a hidden gem!
Love this place. Food is always good & it is nice to have a sit down Thai restaurant. Never to busy to get good servr
Great food and nice place to chill
Love the crispy garlic with tofu
After reading some of the reviews here (and seeing the total 136 reviews with a 4-star rating), my wife and I tried this place. I doubt we'll go back. The food was decent. I had the yellow curry, which I thought was good. My wife's pad thai was just average. The wait time was horrendous. We went at lunch on a weekday - about 1pm. There was one other table occupied when we came in. We got our food (both lunch specials) about 45 minutes later. The sole waiter was friendly and hustling, so I guess the delay was in the kitchen. I'd hate to see how long the wait would be with a busy dining room.To their credit, they handled my wife's gluten allergy well. She gave the waiter a card that explains her gluten-free needs. The chef ensured that her food was safe for her.
One of the best Thai food I ever tried in the U.S. Delicious, fresh and authentic. Great service and friendly environment. I recommend everyone visits the area to try it.
The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The service was warm and friendly. One of the best Thai foods I have had in a long while. Will certainly drive out of my way to eat here!
New management and the food is delicious :)
My family loves the food from this place! Our favorite is the Beef Basil. We usually get the spice on the side so we can make it as spicy as we wish that day. The spring rolls are great also.
Decent quality Thai and easily the best in the area. The spice levels are pretty hot though with a 3/3 being Thai spicy so make sure you want it hot before you order hot. The wait can be quite long so I recommend ordering ahead and picking up vs waiting in the restaurant. We usually get the seafood red curry and a noodle dish and both are quite good and large portions for the price.
Love the food, great, friendly staff. Restaurant is always clean. My only complaint is that they run out of spring rolls at night.
Good drunken noodle. Best Woodbridge local Thai spot Ive found so far. Dining area ok for quick lunch otherwise carryout is the move.
I go to this restaurant fairly often. The food is great and the employees are very helpful.
THEY ARE NOT AT TJIS LOCATION. THE PHINE NUMBER IS TO A VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN SAME LOCATION.
Love the atmosphere. The people are friendly and nice. The food, spectacular!
Thai Orchid used to be delicious! Sadly it's gone.
Pad thai is bomb ! My sister and i did not think they were going to be all that, because we were raised to make these dishes at home ourselves. Occasionally we like to dine out, and this is our "go to" spot. Definitely worth the try !
The best Thai food in the area. They'll cook things to your specifications and remember what you like. The service is great.EDIT Aug 2018: as of August 1, they are under new management. I cannot vouch for the food, service, or atmosphere as I have not been since this change.
The food was exquisite and prepared quickly. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. This has become our new go-to destination.
Love the eggplant with tofu, and the drunken noodles.
Good food with average price not cheap nor expensive.
Only one person working the front, service is terrible and food takes forever to come out. The food itself is decent but not worth waiting an hour for
Love the "My Three Friends dish.
Excellent service, authentic spices, specialty flavors of homemade ice cream
Thai orchid restaurant in Woodbridge has new owner and new management. Their pad thai is very good. Yummy.. It has a lot of flavor and is great...awesome...I recommended it.
Will not go back. I asked for medium spice and it was entirely too spicy. The peppers were so overpowering. So i asked for a new dish no with no spice. Most decent restaurants will change the order with no problem. I knew something was up when she brought my second plate and a to-go box. How rude!! It’s like she was saying hurry up and leave. The second dish was poorly made. It was like just a plate of noodles. Then to top it off when i got my bill they CHARGED ME for the plate of food that i did not eat. I’m not in the mood to argue today so i paid the bill in exact change and left. Very sad they do bad business. I will not be returning and do not recommend.
Their Phone is currently not working. Went on over. Food is delicious! Spiced the way I enjoy Thai food. New management. Wait was only 10 minutes. Great customer service.
We ordered a ton of food and every dish was very tasty, even ordering everything "spicy" wasn't overwhelming with heat. Not a bad Mai Tai either.
came in for an early dinner, and loved everything inside! the food, and the waiteress's hospitality.
The food here is really good and is probably the best Thai in this immediate area. Nice amount of vegetarian selections, including appetizers and salads. Atmosphere is more on the casual side, but very focused on sit-down service. Service is kind of spotty, because sometimes it is good and sometimes not.
Father and his daughter run this restaurant for 19 Years ...i guess. We used to go from 2007 to 2012Now went after 6 Years.Forgot the cook name also Looks like I misplaced their names
Great food that's slowly cooked to order.
Great food. Fast service. A bit pricey but the best Thai place we have found so far in the area.
Although this place was the best Thai restaurant in Woodbridge it has been under a new management and theme is now a Vietnamese restaurant. I would like to know where the Thai chef went.
My husband and I tried Thai Orchid for the first time recently and it was wonderful. We had the green curry and the pad Thai. Both were fabulous! Just the right amount of heat/spice. Tender chicken and fresh veggies. The peanut sauce with the Pad Thai was delicious! Highly recommend if you need a good Thai fix!
We have been celebrating at this restaurant for 15 years and my favorite is the Hunan Duck!
Unbelievable food and even better service.
My favorite restaurant - hard to see some comments complaining over mediocre things. The people that work here are and have always been nice, even the chef! I've been going here for 5 + years and have never been disappointed with my food or the atmosphere. From Pat on down - everyone and everything is 5 star in my book!
This is a very nice , cozy restaurant serving Thai cuisine. I have been to this restaurant so many times loving the food and the friendly service staff. This time we ordered pad Thai and it is so delicately balanced with spices. Another light fare is the coconut lemon soup. It is a blend of spices and mushrooms cooked with coconut juice. I have tried the fried mahi mahi or a choice of red snapper. It goes wonderfully with rice. This place calls me again and again.
Not bad. Pad Thai was on point; but the chicken satay app was a little dry, not as tasty. Solid Thai tea though.
Under new management since August. Extremely friendly staff, great food, menu selections are in line with other Thai restaurants in No. Va. Ingredients seem fresher now and they welcome any suggestions and will make dishes to individual tastes. Prices are reasonable.
I was in the area and decided to get a carryout order and was greeted by new staff - apparently, I did not know that a new ownership took over on August 1st, and I ordered a pork ka pow entree to go. When I brought it home and had it, I could tell that flavor of ka pow had more of authentic flavor compared to my previous orders! Additionally, the new owner is noticeably more personable. I will be dining here more often anytime I am in the Woodbridge area, and strongly recommend others to try this place under their new management.
Great Thai cuisine, everything is hand made and fresh!
The lady who served us was very very nice. We got a seat immediately and our drinks right away. The food came out a little slow but it was really good.
Ordered to go while there. Food came out fast. Friendly service too. Ordered the Shrimp with green curry and veggies. So good! And perfectly spicy! Love the Thai tea and spring rolls as well.
